Want a unique space? Get into this Tudor Revival converted schoolhouse for $425,000.
There are days that I wish our daily commute is to the city.
Not Concord where Ralf works; not Woburn nor Andover where I head to the office.
Because then, it would totally justify buying a place like THIS.
Look at those incredible beams- original from 1900! I don’t know about you, but my first thought was “It’s like living in a tent!”.
And yes, I want to live in a tent-like house okay. It’s glamping.
I love that the diagonal beams help with the demarcation of areas. And those are definitely not standard sized windows, so yes to lots of light.
Not a fan of carpets, so I’m glad to see hardwood floors in bedrooms.
If I were to live here with my husband I would definitely appreciate the fact that the bedroom is clearly separated from the main living area. We’re the type of people who need space to breathe and just be alone once in a while. Co-existence in a small space is tough without getting into one another’s hair.
I’m looking for an excuse to visit this space, so if you’re a buyer for this Tudor Revival converted schoolhouse please give me a shout!
FAQ
Is this a good price?
At $425,000, I think it’s still a little steep for the late winter market. The last unit that sold in this building was Unit 106, at $359,000, in January 2019. It isn’t as unique a space, though as a whole more updated. I would peg its current value closer to $400,000.
Can this be an investment?
Unfortunately no. The Master Deed states that the unit could only be leased for a cumulative total of not more than one year during each period of five consecutive years. It’s basically for home ownership.
