An update of 10 Public high schools near Boxborough that I watch

Pre-pandemic, one of my most frequently heard Buyer-questions revolved around public schools.

Schools, schools, schools! Which town has the best schools?

I thought that that was something that was never going to change, because well, education is important. At some point in 2019 I even made an effort to memorize the top 10 schools (by that I mean public high schools) and have a rough sense of how others in Middlesex County stacked against one another.

Ask me that now and I’ll be drawing up a blank. 😳

Hence the delay of this post.

But, better late than never! Coz the pandemic will be over, but Boxborough won’t be excluded from the concentration of top public high schools in Greater Boston. :)

I’ll soon have to memorize school rankings again. Soon-ish.

So here goes, Boston Magazine’s “Best Public High Schools in Boston” published rankings.

Here’s my compilation of rankings from 2016-2020; an updated chart from the static excel screenshot that I had before.

I spent a little more effort plotting it on Flourish so you could have fun toggling the scores/ranks or even clicking on a particular school that interests you and seeing it highlighted and moving over time. You’re welcome. 🤓

For the record, I did call out Littleton High back in 2019 as I noted that its ranking had constantly improved by 9 spots since 2017. I mean, it’s number 2 now so I wasn’t bad in my predictions was I?
